In this newsletter, you will find books releasing the weeks of October 30th and November 6th that we think will be of interest to Bookreporter.com readers, along with Bonus News, where we call out a contest, feature or review that we want to let you know about so you have it on your radar.
This week, we are calling attention to our special contest for ANATOMY OF A SCANDAL by Sarah Vaughan, which releases on January 23rd. We're giving 25 readers the chance to win an advance copy of the book and send us their feedback on it. The deadline for your entries is Thursday, November 9th at noon ET.
We also are featuring Carol Fitzgerald's Bookreporter.com Bets On commentary for THE LAST MRS. PARRISH, a debut psychological thriller from Liv Constantine, which is the pen name of sisters Lynne Constantine and Valerie Constantine.
Finally, we want to make sure that this year's Miami Book Fair, which will be taking place from November 12-19, is on your radar. On Saturday the 18th at 10am in Room 3314 in Building 3, Carol will be doing a presentation featuring great book club reads for fall and winter. In addition, she will be interviewing Ann Hood about her novel, THE BOOK THAT MATTERS MOST, and her memoir, MORNINGSTAR: Growing Up with Books, as well as her experiences talking to book groups.
