We know that most of you rely on your local and school libraries not only to feed your insatiable reading habits during these summer months, but also as a critical tool during the school year for help with assignments, access to computers and periodicals, and even a quiet, conducive and safe place to do homework. Tuesday, June 29th is National Library Advocacy Day --- a one-time-only event to be held during this year's American Library Association annual conference in direct response to local, state and federal budget cuts affecting libraries nationwide.
