For today's round of If You Ask Me, meet Cassidy from Tuxedo Park, NY, Katie from Cleveland, OH, and Danielle from Spanaway, WA.
CASSIDY: I would trade places with Massie from the Clique so I could sit in her awesome room, trying out her awesome clothes :)
KATIE: Definitely Bella Swan in Twilight. I think every teenage girl wants to be as loved and worshipped as Bella is by Edward.
DANIELLE: I would like to be Alaska from Looking for Alaska because I really enjoyed her presence in that novel.
What is the last book you read? Would you suggest it to a friend? Why or why not?
CASSIDY: I read Heartless last, and I DID suggest it to a friend- it was amazing! So mysterious and scandalous :)
DANIELLE: The last book I read was Hunted by P.C. Cast & Kristin Cast. I wouldn’t recommend it to a friend because most of my friends wouldn’t touch that series with someone else’s hands.
Name three characters from a book that you'd like to invite to your birthday party.
CASSIDY: Spencer from Pretty Little Liars, Charlotte from Poseur, and Anna from The A-List
KATIE: Anna from My Sister’s Keeper Suzy from The Lovely Bones Bella from Twilight
DANIELLE: Mark Renton (Trainspotting), Brandy Alexander (Invisible Monsters), & Lucy Westenra (Dracula).
CASSIDY: Ummm...nope!
KATIE: There are too many to name from Twilight!
DANIELLE: "Choose life." - Trainspotting by Irvine Welsh
Tell us about your top three favorite books of all time.
CASSIDY: I CAN'T POSSIBLY CHOOSE!
KATIE:
DANIELLE:
If you had the opportunity to meet any author (dead or alive), who would you choose to meet, and what three questions would you ask him/her?
CASSIDY: :/ I don’t really know
KATIE: I would like to meet Khaled Hosseini, author of "The Kite Runner" and "A Thousand Splendid Suns". I would ask him: 1. Did you ever personally experience the things that occurred in any of your novels? 2. What was your main goal in putting these Afghanistan novels out there? 3. Was it hard for you to write this book?
DANIELLE:
What movies have you seen that were based on books? Did you like the book or film version better? Why?
CASSIDY: I liked the Clique movie better than the books, because my friend was in it!
KATIE: I’ve seen the Twilight movies and although the movies are good, I prefer the books. The Time Traveler’s Wife--Book was amazing but I hated the movie! Memoirs of a Geisha--Again, good book but I didn’t like the movie. The Notebook--This one I actually preferred the movie! The book was just okay.
Tell us about your favorite book series.
CASSIDY: I loooooove Pretty Little Liars, it’s pretty intense. I love them :)
KATIE: I like the Gossip Girl books. There is way too much drama but it keeps you wanting to know more!
DANIELLE: My favourite book series is The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams. It’s so science-fiction and so much fun to read. Along with Trainspotting by Irvine Welsh, I recommend this to everyone.
