There's just one more week until MOCKINGJAY, the final book in Suzanne Collins's bestselling series The Hunger Games is released, and things are approaching full-on fever pitch. It seems everyone is celebrating, and the list of ways to win Hunger Games related paraphernalia --- or just join in the virtual festivities --- is practically endless.
Teenreads.com has trolled the web endlessly in search of all-things MOCKINGJAY, and we've put together a list of sites that are offering fun prizes, sparking good discussions about the book, or sites where fan enthusiasm is at an all time high. After the book is released, here's a fun stop on the blogosphere. Reading Teen is challenging you to finish the book in 24 hours! Can you do it? On August 24th, every time you visit Reading Teen's site and comment on where you are in the book, your name is added to their very own Reaping Ball. The more you comment, the more chances you have to win a Hunger Games prize pack.

#5: The Mystery Bookstore Opening Paragraph Contest
The Mystery Bookstore, located in Los Angeles, is hosting an online contest asking fans this question: How do you think MOCKINGJAY will begin? The Mystery Bookstore wants you to write your best guess for the opening paragraph of the book, and you will be judged on creativity, humor, and accuracy. Winners will be announced on August 24th.
