Ever have one of those days where you just felt invisible? Well, Charlotte Usher of Tonya Hurley's ghostgirl books is having one of those days... or rather, lifetimes. In LOVESICK, the third installment of the series, Charlotte's last task at "Dead Ed" --- before she can finally move on and RIP --- is to return to the high school where she died, and help a designated teen sort out a personal problem in time for the Prom. Easy enough, right? Just her luck, her "project" happens to be her former crush, Damon. Throw into the mix her current (dead) boyfriend and her newly made-over (living) best friend, and what you have is quite possibly the worst purgatory imaginable for our poor heroine who can't quite figure out if dying (again) for love is worth that all-too-familiar feeling of invisibility.
Tonya will be stopping by the Teenreads blog next Wednesday to diagnose the lovesickness of LOVESICK, so be sure check back then. In the mean time, her eerie (and Tim Burton-esque!) new book trailer is here for your viewing pleasure. And as always, let us know what you think!
