We're rounding out the week with another If You Ask Me... Q&A, with two of our readers from up north and down under. In their answers below, Ishu Taak from Mississauga, ON and Danielle Shields from Perth, Australia rave about all things Harry Potter and Twilight, not to mention Kristin Cashore's latest, FIRE, and last year's big-screen adaptation of the Cirque du Freak series by Darren Shan.

What is the last book you read? Would you suggest it to a friend? Why or why not?
The last book I read was FIRE by Kristen Cashore. I would definitley suggest it to a friend, actually I have already suggested it to all my friends. The book is written so well and the plot and story are mesmerizing. I could not put the book down until i finished it. I fell in love with Kristen Cashore's writing when I read GRACELING, but reading FIRE made me love her writing even more.
Name three characters from a book that you'd like to invite to your birthday party.
Fred and George Weasley form the Harry Potter series, because they are just way too much fun not to have at a party. Mangus Bane from The Mortal Insturments series because he throws one heck of a party. Patch Cipriano from HUSH, HUSH because I want him as my birthday present :P
Do you have a favorite quote from a book? If so, what is it?
It may not be actually said by Fed and George but it is written by them and it is hilarious. The sign on their joke shop reads:
"Why Are You Worrying About You-Know-Who? You SHOULD Be Worrying About U-NO-POO -- the Constipation Sensation That''s Gripping the Nation!"
-Fred and George Weasley, HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE by J.K. Rowling
Tell us about your top three favorite books of all time.
HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS, by J.K.Rowling: While I was reading, I was so into the book I actually thought I was watching the movie. The writing was so detailed and the so plot amazing it will forever have a spot on my favourite books of all time.
THE HUNGER GAMES by Suzanne Collins: This book was absolutely amazing. I read it all in one sitting and once I had finished, I wished I hadn't because i didn't want it to end. I loved the storyline of this book, it was so origional and well written. The characters also had so much personality and depth, I loved Katniss because she was such a compassionate character, strong, and had to go through so much in her life.
GRACELING by Kristen Cashore: This was Cashore's first book and was absolutley briiliant! I immediatley fell in love with Po. He was witty, sarcastic and with his laid-back personality, it is almost impossible not to love him. Katsa was also an amzing character, she is so strong and caring that you wish you were her. I would reccomend anyone to read any of these books, because once you read them, they will definitely make your top three too.

What is the last book you read? Would you suggest it to a friend? Why or why not?
The last book I read was the first book in The Vampires Diaries series, THE AWAKENING by L.J. Smith. I would definitely recommend it to a friend as it was a great vampire romance cliché, which you can't help but love. Is Damon in the TV series lush or what?

Well, I'd have to have for a start; Alice Cullen (Twilight of course) because she’s just so sweet and she would arrange the best birthday party ever. Sticking with the Twilight theme, I'm gonna have to say Jacob, as he can keep you warm on a frost-biting winters day and Taylor is utterly gorgey. And last but not least, Stefan from The Vampires Diaries series. One werewolf and two vampys would be great guests at a birthday party!

This is a tricky one as there’s so many good books out there but at the moment, I’ll have to say: 1. The Harry Potter series, of course!- (Is there a point in even stating the obvious that J.K. Rowling is the author?) 2. The Georgia Nicolson series by Louise Rennison 3. The Demonata series by Darren Shan.
What movies have you seen that were based on books? Did you like the book or film version better? Why?
The last book into film movie I saw was: Cirque Du Freak: The Vampires Assistant, based on the book by Darren Shan. I was actually quite surprised by the film as it was quite good and stuck to most of the storyline, which I was not expecting. I hope they also make The Demonata series by Darren Shan into film too as, I think, it would be really interesting.
Tell us about your favorite book series.
My favourite book series has got to be the Harry Potter series as even though the films are about to finish, the magic of the books will remain for many generations.
