Regardless of whether or not Elliot approves of Uncle Stan’s decision to leave the vineyard to the siblings equally rather than only to him, Margot is determined to throw herself into her work. In fact, she spends almost all of her free time either working or thinking about work. That’s why it’s such a release to take a chance on a one-night stand with a handsome stranger who walks into the restaurant and bar owned by her best friend.
Margot and Luke Williams have an amazing, unforgettable night together, but her jaw practically hits the floor the next morning when Elliot introduces her to the new tasting room employee he hired without giving her a chance to interview him. Of course, it’s none other than Luke himself. DRUNK ON LOVE is a promising series launch that could be described using adjectives that might also classify wine: bold, spicy and juicy, to name a few. The Napa Valley setting might inspire readers to plan a long weekend getaway --- and as usual, Guillory’s novel is full of mouthwatering descriptions of food. The abundance of well-developed, intriguing secondary characters also bodes well for a new series of happily ever afters. Readers will be eager to make a return trip to wine country as soon as possible.
