Jocelyn Green
Jocelyn Green is an award-winning freelance writer and editor and the author of FAITH DEPLOYED: Daily Encouragement for Military Wives. She is also co-author of STORIES OF FAITH AND COURAGE FROM THE WAR IN IRAQ/AFGHANISTAN (AMG Publishers, 2009). She graduated from Taylor University in Upland, Indiana in 1999 with a B.A. in English. After working for a year in Taylor's university relations department, she moved to Washington, D.C. and served as the editor and project manager for the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU).
She and her husband Rob, a Coast Guard officer, married July 5, 2003, at the Ft. Myer Army Base chapel in Arlington, Va., and immediately transferred to Rob's next station in Homer, Alaska. In 2004, after 10 years of Active Duty service, Rob and Jocelyn moved to Cedar Falls, Iowa, where Rob owns and manages CutterAgent.com, a graphic design and production company servicing the needs of Coast Guard units worldwide.
Jocelyn has been freelance writing full-time since then, working with clients such as the CCCU, Taylor University, Eastern University, Indiana Wesleyan University, General Mills, Nestle, Juicy Juice and Publix. She has had dozens of articles published in the following magazines: Christianity Today, Publix's FamilyStyle, Ignite Your Faith, Today's Christian, ZIA Magazine, Today's Pentecostal Evangel, InSite, EFCA Today, Baptist Bulletin and Nestle's Very Best Kids. Her writings also appear at christianmilitarywives.com, InternetCafeDevotions.com, ChristianDevotions.us and cwahm.com (Christian Work at Home Moms). She is an active member of the Evangelical Press Association and the Christian Authors Network.
Jocelyn and Rob have two children, a dog, and a cat.
