Carol Riggs
Carol Riggs is a Young Adult writer, experimenting lately with Middle Grade, which means she write books for tweens, teens and adults. Her sci-fi debut novel THE BODY INSTITUTE explores the themes of body image and identity. She lives in the beautiful green state of Oregon and has a Studio Arts degree; she is also an SCBWI member.
You'll usually find her in her writing cave, surrounded by her dragon collection and the characters in her head. She also enjoys reading --- mostly young adult novels --- as well as drawing, painting and quilting. She also attends writing conferences, walks with her husband, and enjoys music and dance of all kinds.
