The following are lists of books releasing the weeks of January 7th and January 14th that we think will be of interest to Bookreporter.com readers.

I was very sad to hear the news of writer Peter David's stroke at the end of 2012. He's been one of my favorite writers ever since the early '90s, and his work has always been marked by clever wit and solid craftsmanship. His wife has published a blog entry detailing how people can help. Please check it out if you can, and please send well wishes Peter's way.

Caroline B. Cooney, author of Janie Face to Face

In this riveting and emotional conclusion to the thriller-romance Janie Johnson series, that started with THE FACE ON THE MILK CARTON, all will be revealed as readers find out if Janie and Reeve's love has endured, and whether or not the person who brought Janie and her family so much emotional pain and suffering is brought to justice.

20 Questions: A Day in the Life of Robin Marantz Henig

In 2010, Robin Marantz Henig wrote a cover story for The New York Times Magazine titled, "What Is It About Twentysomethings?" that posed a question to readers, asking why people in their 20s are taking so long to grow up. After a lot of debate on this topic, Robin, along with her daughter Samantha Henig, decided to dig a little deeper into this theory, to see if people in their 20s today really are taking longer than their Baby Boomer parents to grow up. In their new book, TWENTYSOMETHING: Why Do Young Adults Seem Stuck? they answer some questions about this, and find some new answers as well. We thought it might be fun to have Robin and Samantha answer our "20 Questions" to see what the differences are between Baby Boomers and Millennials. Below, Robin shares what a typical day is like for her, and we hope to share Samantha's with you soon, so stay tuned!

Like most dogs, Stick Dog loves sticks, but that is not where he gets his name. Stick Dog is named after the fact that the author doesn’t really know how to draw. So in the grand tradition of drawing stick people when you’re not sure how to draw real people, Stick Dog is born! Crafted expertly out of a rectangle for a body, sticks for legs, and some circles, triangles, and a square for the face, Stick Dog is essentially man’s next best friend. Read More

Dav Pilkey’s 10th epic Captain Underpants novel is just as strange and funny as the previous nine, and it culminates in a big bang of a finale. CAPTAIN UNDERPANTS AND THE REVOLTING REVENGE OF THE RADIOACTIVE ROBO-BOXERS has all the action and hijinks that fans of the series have come to anticipate.

"The latest installment of the series is perhaps even smarter and interesting than its predecessors but has all the elements readers have come to expect."
