Hi! My name is Rachel, and I'm a senior in high school in New Jersey. I've enjoyed reading ever since I was young (it's hard not to when you grow up a block from the library), and that passion led me to Teenreads. As a curious person, books give me the chance to learn more about the world around me, so I enjoy reading books of all kinds of genres and writing styles! I love books (of course), the beach, “Downton Abbey" and, as a huge science fiction fan, "Star Trek,” Star Wars and all the Marvel movies (like most, I'm still recovering from Infinity War). If I'm not reading, I'm usually playing the violin, spending time with friends, driving my family crazy with my incessant talking or trying to figure out how many books I can carry home from my local library at once.

Top Five Favorite Books:
1. STRANGE THE DREAMER by Laini Taylor
2. A GENTLEMAN IN MOSCOW by Amor Towles
3. MY LADY JANE by Brodi Ashton, Cynthia Hand and Jodi Meadows
4. SHADOW DIVERS by Robert Kurson
5. THE SUN IS ALSO A STAR by Nicola Yoon
