In IRONSKIN author Tina Connolly’s latest novel, SERIOUSLY WICKED, it’s not all fun and games for Camellia. She lives with a witch and must muck out the dragon’s RV garage, make sure that the werewolf pup is fed and get all of the ingredients for the witch before she instills punishments. So when Camellia hears that the witch is going to use a horrible spell at the school the night of the Halloween dance, she knows that she must stop her before it’s too late.
I would highly suggest that everyone who likes magic read this novel --- it’s a book that I will definitely read again.
SERIOUSLY WICKED is a light, fun read that everyone will enjoy. Cam is a fun character, who, with witty wordplay, attacks every situation with a vengeance, even if it’s just so the witch won’t punish her. Cam doesn’t want to be evil like the witch, so she does everything in her power to stop her from casting her evil spells. But Cam has a lot of learning to do --- along with saving the high school from an explosion. Enter Devon. He is everything that Cam wants and more, but then something bad happens. I love how Cam does her best to maintain control in chaotic situations and in the process, realizes something about herself that she always knew, deep down.
Overall, SERIOUSLY WICKED was fun, light and slightly sassy. Cam is a great character, and the mythical creatures that make appearances in the novel (dragons, anyone?) are pretty great too. I would highly suggest that everyone who likes magic read this novel --- it’s a book that I will definitely read again.

Camellia's adopted mother wants Cam to grow up to be just like her. Problem is, Mom's a seriously wicked witch. Cam's used to stopping the witch's crazy schemes for world domination. But when the witch summons a demon, he gets loose --- and into Devon, the cute new boy at school. To stop the demon before he destroys Devon's soul, Cam might have to try a spell of her own. But if she's willing to work spells like the witch...will that mean she's wicked too?
