Zach Hunter
Zach Hunter is a college student who is helping lead a new generation of activists to put their faith into action to address some of the most serious problems facing the world today. Zach is the author of three books dealing with modern day slavery, compassion and activism. Zach has also written for Boundless, an online magazine for college students and 20Somethings, and Catalyst Groupzine. He has partnered with artists in the Christian community to help raise awareness about human rights violations and the plight of the poor. Zach has spoken around the world inspiring youth to make a difference. He also appeared at White House events and was honored by CNN as a modern day hero.
While in seventh grade, Zach launched the Loose Change to Loosen Chains campaign to raise awareness and funds to help end modern day slavery. Today students around the globe are participating in the LC2LC campaign to benefit organizations involved in the abolition of slavery. Zach spends his free time speaking to hundreds of thousands of people about God's heart for the hurting and oppressed. Zach also appears regularly on TV and radio and contributes to magazine and newspaper articles. Zach served the global student spokesperson for The Amazing Change, a social justice campaign launched by Bristol Bay Productions in conjunction with the 2007 major motion picture Amazing Grace.
