Whitley Strieber
Louis Whitley Strieber (born June 13, 1945) is an American author of over 20 novels and works of nonfiction. He is best known for his horror novels THE WOLFEN and THE HUNGER and for COMMUNION, a nonfiction account of his perceived experiences with non-human entities. His book THE COMING GLOBAL SUPERSTORM (with Art Bell), which was the inspiration for the film The Day After Tomorrow. He has maintained a dual career of author (of fiction) and advocate of alternative concepts (through nonfiction, his Unknown Country website, and his internet podcast, Dreamland).
