Trent Preszler

Trent Preszler, Ph. D., is the C.E.O. of Bedell Cellars, a winery on the North Fork of Long Island. He also builds wooden boats in a nineteenth-century barn under his eponymous brand, Preszler Woodshop, which has 120,000 Instagram followers. Preszler grew up on a cattle ranch in South Dakota and rode horse to a one-room country schoolhouse near the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation. He earned a Ph.D. in Horticulture from Cornell University in 2012.

But maybe that was the point. And with that came an epiphany: he would build something.
