Born in Flemington, New Jersey, Tim moved to Canada in 1980 to study illustration at Sheridan College. Tim utilizes a unique combination of layering paint, glazes and stains in his artwork. He derives his award winning folk style from personal experiences, visions and primitive art from sources throughout the world. His work can be found in many private collections and seen internationally in advertising campaigns, corporate communications, packaging, children's picture books and magazines. Some of his clients include Canada Post, Yahoo!, Intrawest, Bon Appetit, United Airlines, Microsoft, Molson, Labatts, Imperial Oil, Coca-Cola, Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, and the Desert Caballeros Western Museum.
