Biography

Ryan Rush

Ryan Rush's interest in ministry and families started early. He began his ministry as a junior in high school as the music minister of a small church in a rural Texas town, and he hasn't slowed down since.

He worked as the Minister of Worship, Minister to Students and Minister to Adults and Families in various congregations during his career, as well as serving as the Executive Director of the Liberty Godparent Foundation, an outreach ministry for teens in a crisis pregnancy. As the Family Pastor at one of the largest churches in the nation, he implemented a family-sensitive model that has been patterned across the country.

Ryan has been working with families for almost two decades and has become one of the country's leading authorities on time management and on how to find a sense of balance and harmony within the family structure.

He conducts Home on Time conferences all across the nation that teach families how to have greater control over their schedules, their priorities and, most importantly, their walk with God. He speaks often on issues in American culture that affect the productivity of the family. His book, HOME ON TIME: Life Management by the Book, published by 21st Century Press, outlines the principles of time management found in Psalm 90.

He is the founder and director of The Family Ministries Network, which is a national network of family-minded pastors. Ryan hosted The Life and Family Show daily radio broadcast from 1998 to 2002, and was the host of The Home on Time Commentary, a weekly television news segment offering life management advice to families.

Ryan and his wife, Lana, live in the hill country just outside of Austin, Texas, with daughters Ryley Anne and Reagan.
