Mara Cerri was born in Pesaro Itally in 1978 and graduated from the Istituto Statale d’Arte – Scuola del Libro – of Urbino. In 2003 she started working as an illustrator. Since then, her drawings have been published by many magazines and exhibited at the Biennials in Bologna, Bratislava and Lisbon. In 2008 she was awarded the Premio “Lo Straniero” as one the outstanding artists in Italy.
