Karma Wilson began writing children's books after she became a mother (and she received a tax refund that allowed her to buy a computer!). Her first book was BEAR SNORES ON, which became a best-seller and spawned a franchise. She now has over thirty humorous and rhythmic picture books to her credit, several of which have received state and national awards and been translated into many languages. She lives in Huson, Montana.
