Karen Stanton is an author/illustrator of books for children. But herfirst career was as an architect. Contrary to popular belief, she finds making and selling a book to be a much more challenging career. She is from the San Francisco Bay Area, but she is currently living in Valencia, Spain. Her family includes her husband Tom and her four children, Joanna, Peter, Jack and Will. And her granddog Lido. Contrary to popular belief, Lido is a very good dog. Her works include MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, AND EVERY OTHER WEEKEND, PAPI'S GIFT and MR. K AND YUDI.
