Karen Hood-Caddy is an avid environmentalist and the author of six novels, including The Wild Place series, HOWL, THE TRUTH ABOUT BRAVE, and SAVING CRAZY. HOWL was nominated for the Canadian Library Association's Book of the Year for Children Award and the Violet Downey Book Award. When not writing, Karen works as a personal development coach. She lives in Georgian Bay, Ontario.
