Kara M. Bietz
Kara Bietz grew up in New England but now resides near Houston, Texas with her husband, two kiddos and three dogs. She’s been dreaming up stories as long as she can remember; sometimes she puts them on paper and sometimes they just live in her head. In addition to writing, Kara works in the library at a large suburban high school. She writes contemporary YA about love and hate and bullies and bad choices and the teenagers your parents warned you about but you fell in love with anyway. Kara is represented by Courtney Miller-Callihan at Handspun Literary.
