Ilana Exelby was born in Yorkshire, England; surrounded by a creative family, a great passion and appreciation for art emerged from an early age. Ilana pursued Animation and Games art and achieved a BA(hons) in Illustration from the University of Lincoln in 2010.

Since graduating Ilana has worked on various projects ranging from greetings cards, posters, toys, children’s books, and website illustrations. Moreover, she has gained an impressive client list as well as winning various Illustration competitions.

 

Working primarily in gouache, Ilana’s illustrations are fun and bright with quirky characters and scenarios that people of all ages can relate to. Ilana draws inspiration from games, films, 2D and 3D animation, nature and likes to create fun representations of everyday life.
