I'm a literary agent and a writer --- after publishing a chapter-book series and three picture books under my pen name Hallie Durand, I wrote my debut middle-grade novel, MATYLDA, BRIGHT AND TENDER. It sprang straight from an event in my own childhood and that was my sign that it was time to integrate my writing career with my agenting career --- from here on, my books will be published under my given name, Holly M. McGhee. 

 

I'm a planker, a mayonnaise-hater, and a lover of words and pictures --- currently working on several new projects. 

 

I work in New York and live with my family in Maplewood, NJ.
