A lover of writing since she was young, McHugh is grateful that my husband of fifteen years has supported her --- albeit sometimes kicking and screaming --- as she pursued this “hobby” of writing. Without his help, writing would be an impossible endeavor.

In late 2011, she felt an urgent tug of her pen, and began writing, Collide. Although she thought it might never see the light of day, it gave her the courage to plunge headfirst onto a path she had never considered before.
