Elizabeth's debut middle grade novel, FROM ALICE TO ZEN & EVERYONE IN BETWEEN (Lerner Books), was published in 2008 and was included in the "Bank Street College of Education's BEST CHILDREN'S BOOKS" of 2009. Her following tween book, I, EMMA FREKE (Lerner Books), was released September, 2010 and won a gold Moonbeam award for pre-teen fiction, was released in audio by Recorded Books, and earned a starred School Library Journal review. It was also included in the "Bank Street School of Education's BEST CHILDREN'S BOOKS" 2011 edition and listed as a 2011 Honor Book Award by the Society of School Librarians International (SSLI).

In early 2012, "EMMA" was published in French by Alice Editions under the title, JE SUIS UN PHENOMENE, and re-released by Scholastic for their Arrow Book Flyers (winter 2013). Last year, I EMMA FREKE was nominated for the Rebecca Caudill Young Readers Award 2014 (Illinois), and in 2015 was a winner of the Sunshine State Young Reader Award (Florida), as well as the Ado-Lisant prize in Belgium for the French edition.

Elizabeth's third middle grade book, THE SUGAR MOUNTAIN SNOW BALL (Islandport Press), will be published in October 2015, and her fourth novel, THE ISLAND OF BEYOND (Lerner Books), will be published in Spring 2016.
