As a military analyst, Col. Jeff O'Leary appears regularly on Fox News offering his insight on subjects including terrorism and Middle East politics, culture and the crisis in Iraq and in Israel. But most people came to know Col. O'Leary as he spoke to more than 10 million television viewers two weeks after terrorists attacked the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, the building where he worked. Dressed in full uniform, Col. O'Leary appeared on Robert Schuller's HOUR OF POWER, offering encouragement and hope during one of the darkest times in our nation's history.

He completed the Executive Education Program at the Harvard Business School and was selected as a Harvard University National Defense Fellow in 1999 and 2000. He holds Master's degrees in National Security from the Naval War College and Speech from California State University in Los Angeles. His Bachelor's degree in Speech was earned at California Lutheran University.

This decorated veteran served more than 22 years in the United States Air Force, commanded a flying squadron and served as the deputy Group Commander over 3,000 people. He appeared on more than 250 television and radio programs in 2003 sharing his own experiences facing terrorism while serving as a Peacekeeper in Northern Israel during the Gulf War. He survived a nightly Iraqi missile barrage and a café bombing while evacuating innocent civilians by day. He holds the Legion of Merit, three Air Medals, four Meritorious Service Medals, the Southwest Asia Service Medal with two Battle Stars and an Outstanding Unit Award with Valor.

Col. O'Leary has authored books including TAKING THE HIGH GROUND – Military Moments With God, which has sold 75,000 copies, and BRAVE HEARTS UNDER RED SKIES: Stories of Faith under Fire, which was a 2003 CBA bestseller.

As founder and director of Mission of Joy, a non-profit organization dedicated to easing the plight of homeless children in India, Col. O'Leary has overseen the building of four orphanages and the complete care for hundreds of orphans over the past decade. Mission of Joy supports more than 60 native missionaries in remote villages in India, has built more than 20 churches, operates a widow's home for Christian widows, and feeds thousands of meals to hungry children every week. Each spring, Mission of Joy organizes more than 100 nights of outreach meetings to poor villages in India providing food for both body and spirit.

Col. O'Leary and his wife Cindy have been married for 28 years and have six children – five living: Jo Beth, Stephen, Kjerstin, Sean and Shannon.
