Christine M. Schneider grew up in Colorado and graduated with a BFA in Illustration from the University of Kansas. Christy owns Yellow Pencil Studio, Inc., an illustration and design studio in Lawrence, Kansas. Some of her picture books for children include PICKY MRS. PICKLE, SAXOPHONE SAME AND HIS SNAZZY JAZZ BAND, UNDER CONSTRUCTION, and MY LEARN TO READ BIBLE. She lives in Lawrence with her husband and daughter.
