Barbara Dee is the author of EVERYTHING I KNOW ABOUT YOU, HALFWAY NORMAL (2018 CBC Notable Book, Junior Library Guild selection, YALSA Booklist “Surviving Middle School,” starred reviews from Kirkus Reviews and School Library Journal), STARCROSSED (2018 ALA Rainbow List Top Ten, 2018 CBC Notable Book, 2017 Goodreads Choice Awards Finalist, 2017 Chicago Public Library Best of the Best List, King County Public Library Best of 2017, 2018), and six other middle grade novels. Barbara is one of the founders and directors of the Chappaqua Children’s Book Festival. She lives with her family, including a naughty cat named Luna and a sweet rescue hound named Ripley, in Westchester County, New York.
