Eight stories from nine European creators about different geographic locations around Japan are combined with eight stories from eight creators from the Archipelago about their birthplace or place of residence. The result is a sentient collection of anecdotes and tales, both ancient and modern, woven together from such differing views that one is sorely tempted to visit for oneself some aspect of this land of the Rising Sun.
