Jane Morgan is obsessed with Thalia Ashcroft. The two met in Oxford, England, where they went to grad school for creative writing. Thalia is beautiful, vivacious and intelligent, and everybody loves her --- especially Jane, who just can’t get enough of her. Although she accepts Jane as her friend, Thalia also becomes close with Ani. Jane and Ani go together like oil and water. Jane is jealous of the time that Thalia spends with Ani, as well as all the attention Thalia attracts from the men on campus.

At the end of their first semester, an incident takes place that changes everything for Jane. Thalia kills her former boyfriend in what she declares was self-defense. Jane covers for her, claiming that she was the one who murdered him to protect Thalia. While Jane comes back to complete her degree, Thalia does not.

Jane has been searching for Thalia ever since but with no luck. That all changes nine years later when Jane finally locates her and is determined to see her again. Thalia is now a bestselling author, while Jane is still struggling with her writing career. Jane learns that Thalia will be at a writer’s conference, and she will do anything to ensure that she comes face-to-face with the woman she has fixated on for years.

Of course, things don’t go as planned. While Jane does get to see Thalia, she also runs into her old nemesis. It turns out that Thalia and Ani are now sisters-in-law as Thalia married Ani’s brother. This news sets off a series of events that once again will be a game-changer for Jane and challenges everything she thought was true.

I’M NOT DONE WITH YOU YET explores Jane’s childhood and her first meeting with Thalia before returning to the present. While these timeline shifts can be a bit confusing, it does provide some much-needed background as to what is currently happening. Jesse Q. Sutanto does a great job of keeping readers interested in the plot thanks to strong characters and an intriguing narrative.
