Ice Cold Heart: A Monkeewrench Novel

Monkeewrench is back!

Just read the prologue and you’ll be hooked until the last page.

Minneapolis detectives Leo Magozzi and his partner, Gino Rolseth, are called to the scene of the gruesome murder of a beautiful young lady, seemingly the victim of a sexual bondage gone bad. As they launch their investigation, another woman, a psychic, is slain in similar fashion. Then a third woman who knew the psychic goes missing. Clues to the murders and the missing female are linked to messages on the women’s cell phones and computers. They all tie into an art gallery and a bondage party club located in a seedy area of Minneapolis.

"Just read the prologue and you’ll be hooked until the last page."

Meanwhile, Roadrunner, the reclusive computer geek whose private life is a mystery even to his partners in the Monkeewrench gaming company, rescues a neighbor woman who nearly freezes to death during the bitter cold winter weather near his lakeside home. During recovery, she discloses information that may link the art gallery and its owners to the bondage club.

Magozzi and Gino begin to connect the dots between the murders and payments made by bitcoin for the disturbing paintings that appear to be tied to the women’s deaths. They turn to Monkeewrench for help in diving into the realm of bitcoin trading to track down the killer.

All clues lead to a larger international conspiracy embroiling all of our favorite characters: Grace MacBride, Harley Davidson, the voluptuous Annie Belinsky, and the rest of the Monkeewrench gang. And does the resolved bachelor Roadrunner find love?

Readers will be happy to see that Traci Lambrecht is back in the groove following the loss of her writing partner and mother, P.J. Lambrecht, who introduced the series 16 years ago.
