Review

Convince Me

When Annie wrecks her car, she is rescued by Justin Childs, a handsome man with a magnetic personality. They are drawn to each other immediately. Their relationship is romantic, and Justin appears to be the perfect man for Annie: he’s ambitious, funny and attentive. They marry, and Annie is happy with her new life. It’s not until Justin is killed in a car accident about a year later that her world begins to fall apart.

"CONVINCE ME features lively writing from film producer and author Nina Sadowsky, an intriguing storyline and well-developed characters."

After his untimely death, Annie discovers that Justin was deeply in debt. He took out loans to buy frivolous things --- like a yacht --- that she never knew about; maxed out several credit cards to the tune of thousands of dollars; and had three mortgages on their house. The list is almost endless. It turns out that Justin lied to and deceived not only his wife, but also his business partners, the people he called friends, even his mother.

Justin has left Annie with a mountain of debt and many unanswered questions. Why was valium found in his blood after the accident, even though he notoriously detested using drugs? Where was he really when he said he was going out of town on business trips? What did he do with all the money? And now that he’s gone, how can Annie put her life back together?

CONVINCE ME features lively writing from film producer and author Nina Sadowsky, an intriguing storyline and well-developed characters. This fast-paced novel will keep you guessing until the very end. There are definite clues that have been dropped along the way, but unless you are paying very close attention as you read, you are liable to miss them.
