After All I've Done

Diana Sparrow was driving herself to the hospital, suffering from a gall bladder attack, when she crashed her car. She woke up hours later with her gall bladder removed and two broken collarbones. She doesn’t remember anything about the accident and has no memory of the last few months of her life.

"[T]here are plenty of unexpected twists and turns along the way and an ending that you may or may not be ready for."

Now, her best friend Val won’t even speak to her, and her husband Jonathan is acting strangely. Her mother-in-law, who lives on the property, is very supportive. She comes over nearly every day, bringing food or other needed items, and makes sure that Diana takes all of her meds. They help relieve her pain but also make her drowsy and forgetful.

Try as she might, Diana is not able to recall what went down before the crash. Sometimes it’s hard for her to know if something actually happened or if she’s just imagining it. As time goes on, Diana realizes that she might have to live the rest of her life not remembering her past, but it’s so difficult because people are not acting the way that she expects them to act. Will she ever get those precious memories back? And if she doesn’t, how will she cope with the future?

AFTER ALL I’VE DONE is told from multiple points of view. Writing as Mina Hardy, New York Times bestselling author Megan Hart’s easy-to-read style makes you want to turn the pages and find out what happens next. She fills in the backstory as the action proceeds, letting readers know some of what transpired before Diana’s accident. But there are plenty of unexpected twists and turns along the way and an ending that you may or may not be ready for. Brace yourself!
