There is merely a week left in July as I’m writing this newsletter, and I’m suddenly wishing for more time. The summer is going by unbelievably fast, and I find that I still have so many things I want to do before...drumroll here…school starts. Among them is finishing some of the books I have picked up for pleasure reading this summer. Are you reading anything exciting right now, or are you purely sticking to your required summer reading? Well, if you’re in one of those awkward lulls when you’ve just finished a book and don’t know what to read next, check out this month’s newsletter and see if anything tempts you.

This Bookreporter.com Special Newsletter spotlights a book we think is a great summer reading selection. Read more about it, and enter our Summer Reading Daily Contest by Wednesday, July 25th at 11:59AM ET to win one of five copies of GOLD by Chris Cleave. Please note that each contest is only open for 24 hours, so you will need to act quickly!

Here are reading recommendations with your comments and a rating of 1 to 5 stars for June's contest. One lucky reader won a copy of NEVERMORE: The Final Maximum Ride Adventure by James Patterson and THE RISE OF NINE by Pittacus Lore.
