When it comes to icons of current fantasy, none stands out as highly as Drizzt Do'Urden. Created for the Forgotten Realms novels based on the Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying world, Drizzt is a dark elf who shuns the black nature of his own world and rises from the Underdark to roam the Realms as a champion against evil. R.A. Salvatore has laid out such an engaging character (as well as his cast of companions) that the series continues to grow in size and readership. Fast-paced and exciting reads.
