You can’t talk about high-impact action thrillers without mentioning Matthew Reilly, and SCARECROW RETURNS, his latest and best effort to date in the Scarecrow series, meets the definition. This up-all-night page-turner deals with a race between a team led by Shane Schofeld, The Scarecrow, and a mysterious group of terrorists who are set on acquiring the ultimate doomsday weapon which is located at a deserted and forgotten Russian Army base on remote Dragon Island. There are enough explosions, karate, and dead bodies to fill three books, and that’s just in the first one hundred pages. Read this one and you’ll want to read the others.
