Spring is arguably the best season of the year. For those of us in the northeast, it's a sign of warmer days ahead, frequent rain showers that bring May flowers, and no longer eating soup or stew for every single meal (although we wouldn't blame you if you still wanted to)! Along with one of the best seasons comes a slew of brand new cookbooks, and this year's batch is sure to get your mouth watering and your tongues wagging.

If there's one thing in the world we all can agree on, it's that we love a celebrity or two. Whether it be a favorite musician, a critically acclaimed actor or actress, or a long-standing political activist, there's at least someone in the celebrity sphere who tickles our fancy. There really is no one season to celebrate celebrities, except maybe the annual award show season. But if you love entertainment culture like we do, celebrity love is everlasting.

As we move from the hot days of summer to the cool and crisp nights of fall, we begin to shake off the light fare we've been consuming as of late (think: stone fruits, mid-day ice cream treats, freshly grilled corn) and look towards the cozier comfort foods (think: soups, stews, casseroles) to bulk us up in preparation for winter hibernation. This is probably felt most strongly in the Northeast region of America where the changing color of the leaves and the onslaught of sweater-weather wear are the true marks of transition.
