Lisa Genova is the New York Times bestselling author of EVERY NOTE PLAYED, INSIDE THE O'BRIENS, LOVE ANTHONY, LEFT NEGLECTED and STILL ALICE. Julianne Moore won the Best Actress Oscar for her role in the film adaptation of STILL ALICE in 2015. Lisa graduated valedictorian from Bates College with a degree in biopsychology and holds a PhD in neuroscience from Harvard University. Speaking about brain health and the neurological diseases and conditions she writes about, she has appeared on "Dr. Oz," "The Today Show," CNN, "PBS Newshour" and NPR, and is featured in the Emmy Award–winning documentary film To Not Fade Away.
