Biography

Angela Warsinske

Angela graduated with an undergraduate degree from Eastern Michigan University with a triple major in creative writing, art history and Theater Arts and a masters degree from Wayne State University in Library and Information Science. She is currently working as a full-time youth services librarian in Southeastern Michigan. She loves reading books, reviewing books and recommending books to people of all ages, especially those who are reluctant to read. At a young age she always loved the places stories could take you. She is very proud of where her story has taken her to achieve what she has today, but there is one goal she has never seemed to be able to achieve and that is becoming a published writer, but regardless of whether she becomes published or not, she finds the craft of writing to be as natural as breathing and will never stop, a true writer has to write for the sake of their own sanity.

When her fifth-grade teacher hints that a series of lessons about home and community will culminate with one big answer about two tall towers once visible outside their classroom window, Deja can't help but feel confused. She sets off on a journey of discovery, with new friends Ben and Sabeen by her side. But just as she gets closer to answering big questions about who she is, what America means, and how communities can grow (and heal), she uncovers new questions, too.
