Following the release of her USA Today bestseller BOY TOY, Nicola Marsh toys with our emotions yet again with the delightful THE MAN BAN.

For the last 12 months, Harper Ryland has sworn off men. Coming off the heels of a brutal breakup, she is determined to focus on her career and avoid the inevitable heartbreak disaster. It doesn't help that her parents, her perfect role models of love, have separated after decades of marriage.

"THE MAN BAN will capture your interest from the first chapter. The spark between the pair is truly sizzling. Their banter is refreshing and fun to read, and it feels so natural."

However, as luck would have it, Harper meets Manny Gomes, a handsome Anglo-Indian doctor. After a very messy and immature meet-cute at the wedding of Harper’s best friend, the two part ways, never expecting to see each other again.

A week later, though, their paths collide, thousands of miles from the wedding. Harper has secured an amazing once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to skyrocket her career onto an international scale. When she hits a major snafu, Manny offers his assistance. Although he absolutely rubs her the wrong way, his chivalry draws her in.

Manny has no intention of marriage or commitment in general, and Harper has no plans to break her ban. But something about the other attracts them in a way that has never happened before. As they see where their feelings lead, they must decide how vulnerable they're willing to be with each other.

THE MAN BAN will capture your interest from the first chapter. The spark between the pair is truly sizzling. Their banter is refreshing and fun to read, and it feels so natural. I especially loved how their relationship was built. Both are stars in their respective fields, so it warmed my heart that Manny offered his help to Harper and didn't let his ego get in the way.

Marsh's winning novel is perfect for anyone who wants to believe in the inevitability and power of love. Even those with self-imposed man bans should check it out!

About the Book

When you swear off men for the foreseeable future, that means no dating. Hookups don't count, right?

Harper Ryland has been on a self-imposed man ban for the last 12 months, after a particularly horrible breakup. Instead, she's focusing on the one thing she can control: her career as an up-and-coming food stylist. Harper's latest gig is her best friend's wedding, and she receives glowing praise throughout the night. When the Best Man, Manny Gomes, belittles her hard work, she wants to stab him with skewers from the buffet table. But she can think of something much better: to lead him on the entire wedding and then humiliate him in sweet revenge.

When the handsome Anglo-Indian doctor shows up in New Zealand a week later, while Harper is on her first international job, it's the last thing she needs. Everything about him rubs her the wrong way, but when suave Manny steps in to help after an unfortunate disaster, his chivalry gets under her skin a little, and Harper discovers that lifting her ban while overseas is exactly what the doctor ordered.

Manny isn't looking for anything but fun either --- especially not marriage, like his grandmother Izzy keeps pushing on him. But there's something about Harper that makes him want more, even though she keeps her distance, and they're about to discover how far he's willing to go to be with her.
