I bought SNOW FLOWER AND THE SECRET FAN strictly because of the flap --- I didn't even know the author. The book was great and I couldn't put it down. Also, another one that stands out is DEVIL IN THE WHITE CITY. The description of the book on the back cover intrigued me. It also was one of the best books I have ever read.
