Robin Carr's SHELTER MOUNTAIN. I started reading it on the plane home from Hawaii last week, got home totally exhausted around midnight, and ended up reading until 3 a.m. I didn't finish it, but was too sleepy to go on! It's a wonderful story, the second in her Virgin River series, and I would recommend it to anyone who loves a truly warm, emotional, sexy, wonderful contemporary romance.

A MAN IN FULL by Tom Wolfe. I just could not put it down. It is so full of wonderful characters, whom you really feel you know! From the pompous Charlie Croker to poor Conrad, they truly come alive, as does the city of Atlanta and the racial problems. My only disappointment was the ending, which didn't seem to fit the rest of the novel. Even tho it is a huge book (742 pages), it is well worth the read!!
