I have a couple of favorite places to read in the summer. On the rare occasion we travel to a nearby lake, I love to settle in with a good book while I watch everyone else swim. More often, you`ll find me in my own back yard which is just like a park. There, I can listen to the birds and feel the warm sunshine and gentle breezes as I read. That`s my favorite way to relax and get away from it all.

I love to read at the beach or sitting on the balcony of a condo overlooking the beach. However, that is only possible for maybe a week out of the summer.
