You have got to be kidding. I have found many, many authors in your newsletter. I have also gotten five other readers to subscribe to your weekly newsletter. Keep up the great work. Thank you so much from an avid reader who gets up on Saturday mornings to head to the computer before my coffee to read it.

The latest author I discovered on Bookreporter.com was Elizabeth Flock. I read Me & Emma and was captivated. It is my favorite book so far this year. I love reading Word of Mouth to see what everyone is reading and enjoying. I found Life of Pi, The Namesake, and The Kite Runner by going against my gut instinct and listening to the thoughts of other readers. Thanks for helping me step outside of my comfort zone.

I recently discovered an author who's been around for a while but whose work I never read before. I received Tess Gerritsen's latest hardcover as a Christmas present this year and I loved it. She is right up there with James Patterson, Jonathan and Faye Kellerman, and Patricia Cornwell. I loved her book so much I went to the bookstore and bought as many of her earlier books as I could find. I haven't read them yet as I am reading something else at the moment, but I can't wait to read them. It's always good to find a new author who can keep me interested in her work. I am adding her to my list of favorite psychological thriller authors.
JoyZoo@aol.com
Stephen White, the first suspense author after I became a member.
Clc323@aol.com
The Speed of Light by Elizabeth Moon. It's a fascinating book, written from the point of view of an autistic man. Although it was unlike what I usually read, I found it so absorbing that I read it in a day.
MMarcia48@aol.com
Rick Riordan. I have watched the growth of his considerable talent. Thank you for recommending him.
CPitman141@aol.com

I "discovered" Jodi Compton in your newsletter. I just finished reading The 37th Hour and plan to read Sympathy Between Humans as soon as I finish the books I have checked out of the library now. The 37th Hour is a really gripping thriller and hard to put down. It reminded me of Lisa Gardner's books.

I read a couple of reviews on Word of Mouth (one of my favorite sources for book reviews) and talked my book group into readingIf Nobody Speaks of Remarkable Things. This was one of the best, most lyrical, almost poetic books we have read, and we had a wonderful discussion.
Fafajane@aol.com
My Sister's Keeper, and I loved it!
jscady@efieldguide.com
I generally don't read Female Detective series so I had avoided the Perri O'Shaughnessy books. But after reading one of your reviews, I tried one, and loved it. Well, it is about a woman lawyer, but a tough one, and there are plenty of men around. Plus I love her locales, which are detailed enough for me to drag out the atlas to pinpoint the action.

The Know-It All. I gave this to my husband for Christmas. He keeps it in the bathroom and I can hear him chuckling quite often. Then he'll come out and tell me some fascinating thing he's learned. He loves this book!
