I am looking forward to reading the new Sara Paretsky mysteryBlacklist, which is due in late September. This should be another well-researched, well-thought-out plot by Ms. Paretsky. The plot concerns blacklisting and the effects it has on people, a concern of Ms. Paretsky's. I can't wait and hope that other avid mystery readers will join me in devouring this one.

The book I'm most looking forward to reading in the next few weeks is The Dante Club by Matthew Pearl. I would have read it before now since I've had it awhile, but belonging to two book groups plus currently taking a literature course at the local university has kept me away from this title too long. It promises to be a great piece of historical fiction.
