Carol Goodman is the author of five works of fiction: THE LAKE OF DEAD LANGUAGES, THE SEDUCTION OF WATER, THE DROWNING TREE, THE GHOST ORCHID and the newly released THE SONNET LOVER. In this interview with Bookreporter.com's Barbara Lipkien Gershenbaum, Goodman reveals how she was inspired to explore the identity of Shakespeare's mysterious "Dark Lady" and describes what intrigues her most about the Bard’s famous sonnets.
