The rain has left the New York metropolitan area in a perpetual state of damp, and has prevented me from utilizing my favorite summer reading spot --- my hammock. Thus, when the clouds parted this past weekend I literally ran outside, occasionally looking up to make sure I was not only imagining the sunny sky.
