Part of the issue of achievement is to be able to set realistic goals, but that's one of the hardest things to do because you don't always know exactly where you're going, and you shouldn't.

In this newsletter, you will find books releasing the weeks of November 28th and December 5th that we think will be of interest to Bookreporter.com readers, along with Bonus News, where we call out a contest, feature or review that we want to let you know about so you have it on your radar.

This week, we are calling attention to our review of Carrie Fisher's latest book, the much-talked-about memoir THE PRINCESS DIARIST, which is now in stores.

We also encourage you to enter our series of 24-hour Holiday Cheer contests for your chance to win books that are perfect for holiday giving and that you may want to include on your "to me/from me" list. And please keep in mind our "What's Your Book Group Reading This Month?" contest on ReadingGroupGuides.com. Three book groups will have a chance to win 12 copies of THE BOOK THAT MATTERS MOST by Ann Hood, which was a Bookreporter.com Bets On title when it released in August.

Teen Board Question - November 2016, Part 2

With Thanksgiving (and turkey, stuffing and that post-meal nap) on the brain, we at Teenreads are feeling particularly thankful for our favorite books. Throughout the year, tons of authors have given us incredible gifts in the form of realistic fiction, laugh out loud rom-coms, dramatic fantasies and way more! Now we're inviting our Teen Board members to join us at the figurative Thanksgiving table and tell us which book(s), series, author, or genre they’re most thankful for this holiday season.

November 2016

November is a month of change: the leaves change color and fall off the trees and the weather gets colder. Keeping in season, our Picture Book roundup this month includes many books that talk about change. First up is IT IS NOT TIME FOR SLEEPING by Lisa Graff, which tells the story of a boy who changes his mind and decides that it cannot be time for sleeping. Up next is Marla Frazee's THE BOSSIER BABY, the sequel to THE BOSS BABY, where Boss Baby gets a new baby sister. Finally, Keith Baker's book HAP-PEA ALL YEAR shows us just how many changes happen throughout the year by celebrating the months, seasons and holidays with colorful, vivid illustrations.

November 2016

This month's Cool & New roundup includes THE BEACH AT NIGHT, a children's fable from the point of view of a lost doll, reimagined by critically aclaimed and bestselling adult author Elena Ferrante; THE LOST PROPERTY OFFICE by James R. Hannibal, which follows a boy named Jack who is great at finding everything --- except his father, who was in a secret society of detectives; and, lastly, the second book in the The Secrets of the Pied Piper series, THE MAGICIAN'S KEY, where the main character, Max, has to go back to the Summer Isle to save her brother from the legendary Pied Piper.
