Being on the police force in Icicle Falls is usually no more exciting than chasing down Stumpy Hodgkins’ deaf horse and slowing impatient drivers. But no sooner does tough cop Tilda Morrison move into a fixer-upper on Candy Cane Lane than vandals destroy the neighborhood’s festive Christmas decorations that do the town proud. And what’s with Tilda’s neighbors? Snooty divorced mom Ivy Bohn and super volunteer Maddy Donaldson have enough troubles to shed gloom on the merriest of holidays.
If Candy Cane Lane is to get its share of Peace on Earth, Tilda has her work cut out for her. But at least she, Ivy and Maddy form a neighborly bond of sorts while they all try to catch the vandals red-handed.
Lately she’s been distracted by town bad boy Devon Black and his hard-muscled body. Suddenly wherever she is, there’s Devon, with a sexy smile and a helping hand. Turns out that beneath Tilda’s no-nonsense demeanor and shiny badge, she wears some mighty sexy lace. And she’s tired of looking for the right man to share it with.
